One of the best things about living in a small community like Flower Mound, Texas, is that we can really get to know our neighbors! I guess, depending on where you live, this is not always a good thing… But, my family loves it here!
And what’s not to love? There is so much happening around town as summer approaches.
Camping and Splashing and Watching Movies Outside, Oh My!
These events look like so much fun!
There is a family campout on Saturday, May 16. Purchase your tickets in advance, pack your tent and the kids, and head over to Heritage Park at 4:30 pm. A catered chuck-wagon dinner, games, an outdoor movie, and star gazing are just a few of the fun things the city has planned. I hear there is even a tent-decorating contest!
If you haven’t already made fabulous plans for Memorial Day, you might want to stop by the Community Activity Center for the Memorial Day Splashtacular. It sounds like a soaking-wet, great time! Monday, May 25 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
There is also an outdoor movie series starting soon! I definitely hope to see you there!
