I was introduced to Dr. Aubel by another associate about three and a half years ago. Dr. Aubel is quiet and refined, but over the past three years, I’ve had the chance to get to know her on a deeper, more personal level. It wasn’t long before you could tell dentistry for children is her true passion.
Her demeanor is quiet, yet she commands attention when talking with our patients and she’s an excellent clinician. She has been such a wonderful addition to our Flower Mound team and it’s wonderful to see just how much the children love her, too!
Getting to Know Dr. Aubel
It’s nice that our patients and their parents build personal relationships with all the wonderful people in our practice, so I thought it would be fun to ask Dr. Aubel a few fun questions about herself so everyone has the chance to get to know her as we all do!
When did you first show interest in becoming a dentist?
I always wanted to work within the medical field, but decided on dentistry in college, thanks to my own dentist. He showed me how being a dentist was the perfect field for me.
What was it about dentistry that drew you to the pediatric side of the industry?
I love working with children, so I always knew I would do pediatric dentistry. I love being able to make a trip to the dentist a fun and pleasant experience.
What is your favorite part about working with Dr. Duffy?
I love working with her, because she makes the office feel like a second home. She’s become a great mentor and friend.
What’s the best part of your job?
My favorite part is that every single day is different. I get to visit with so many different kids, each with their own adorable personalities and you never know what they are going to say next!

Dr. Aubel has helped us so much by offering more operatory hours to our patients, while providing quality care. I love the way she treats our patients and have loved being a part of her life. She’s an excellent wife and mother; very family oriented and this translates into the kind of work she does.
