We gladly invite parents to accompany their children during their first pediatric dental visit to our office. It is important for parents to participate in their child’s dental health. Our goal is to provide parents and children the necessary guidance so you are able to confidently care for their teeth at home in between the 6 month visits.
We recommend your child’s first preventive dental visit at age 12 months; however, in some children there is a need to be seen at an earlier age. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends your child visit the dentist every 6 months for a dental exam, cleaning, and x-rays to maintain good oral health. Preventive dental care is the secret to a healthy smile.
